Corporate responsibility
Committed to being a responsible corporate citizen to better serve our patients, people and communities.
At Stallergenes Greer, we strive to develop a culture of inclusion, engagement, and opportunity to better serve our patients, people and communities.
Giving back to our communities
We are committed to supporting the communities in which our employees live and work. In France and in the U.S. hundreds of Stallergenes Greer’s volunteers are involved in numerous initiatives.
For example, each year the Day of Service at our Lenoir, North Carolina facility brings together more than 200 volunteers who visit close to 30 different locations and volunteer close to 1,200 hours. Other US initiatives also include an Employee Wellness Day with health screenings, as well as a blood drive.
Lenoir also celebrates Allergy Awareness Month with a series of educational opportunities and introduced the President’s Award in the Americas which recognizes employees for their contributions to Stallergenes Greer who go above-and-beyond what is expected of them.
A sustainable organisation
We operate a sustainable organization that protects our employees, the environment and our communities. We have a systematic approach to monitoring greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data from our major manufacturing facilities. GHG emissions are monitored on a ratio per employee basis.
An inclusive environment
For Stallergenes Greer, an inclusive work environment is a foundation of who we are.
As part of the programs implemented by the company, the Antony site in France has implemented a series of programs in favor of the disabled. Ties have been developed with sheltered workshops for the supply of printing and catering services. The company also partners with HandiEm, a French non profit organization created by pharmaceutical companies, which is dedicated to the inclusion of disability in the workplace, for various internal events.
Developing our people
We believe that providing development opportunities beyond role-specific training is important in order to retain our talent and develop the next group of leaders. We continue to develop training including coaching, management and finance training, as well as assessments.
Professional equality between men and women
In France, Stallergenes Greer’s index on professional equality between men and women is 90/100. We focus strongly on fostering our culture, which aims to provide all our employees with a supportive work environment that values diverse opinions and experiences, and enables individual, group and organisational success.
